Impulse Hose Test Stand

This test facility comprises a hydraulic power supply with an enclosed impulse test station and an instrumentation console.  The pressure impulse system is capable of performing tests in accordance with SAE J343.  The power supply is fully enclosed for safety and noise reduction.   The test area is enclosed with an automated transparent shield.  Tooling is provided for properly mounting test hoses from 6 to 51 mm (1/2 to 2 inch) nominal I.D.  Depending on hose size, up to six hoses can be tested simultaneously.  The number of hoses which can be tested concurrently is limited by the volume of the intensifier.  For sizes above 25mm (1 inch) nominal size, the number of hoses is greatly reduced.  In addition to the standard hose impulse testing, a number of options are offered to allow a wide range of standard hose tests to be performed.
